I understand perfectly well who rustybrick/Barry is...
Hence my not-so-veiled references in this discussion.
I'll repeat my earlier points.
** Rustybrick and co. et al. and I have disagreed several times on "official Google announcements"...
My record is impeccably accurate in said disagreements...
otherwise i wouldn't be voicing my alternate arguments to begin with, see?
** As always, the long list of "official Google announcemnts" endorsed or not endorsed by Gurus X,Y, and Z is even longer...
and i've oft disagreed with those, as well.
And my record is just as accurate, see?
I simply NEVER need Goog to tell me what's going on with the Algo.
I often understand what's happening better than any Goog employee. (references and links available upon request)
** And lastly, I have NO idea what rusty/barry, goog employee, or anyone else is "seeing" when they report "seeing" or "not seeing" Caffeine.
If the comment is "Google hasn't OFFICIALLY launched Caffeine"
then I DON'T DISAGREE.
I'm not terribly concerned with the PUBLIC RELATIONS "OFFICIAL" Announcement meant to "awe and amaze" SEO's who don't know better.
If the comment is "Google hasn't been sending traffic through Caffeine "Datasets" -- Then I call a lie.
If the commment is "Google's Caffeine is ONLY a dataset rollout OR a infrastructure change" -- then I call double lie.
On the other hand, perhaps OTHERS should see my many "crazy" predictions about Google pronouncements and how webmasters should "interpret" them and see who's giving more helpful advice?
I stand by all my earlier comments regardless of who agrees with them or not.
