I just think this is one more factor to check against the competition. If you have more keyword density, more prominence, more relevant backlinks, more PR and a faster site than the current #1 then you ought to be able to take that top slot. Or perhaps if you are only matching the #1 for most SEO factors speed could be the thing that gives you a slight edge. Cheers Sid
