Okay, wow. How is it that one person, or a group of persons at Google can shove a site down in rankings or off page 1 because they decide to. Now, let's see here. That doesn't concern anyone? In some circles that would be considered communist rule. At stretch yes, but when a few people can control information to that extent it's scary. It's scary because of Google's market share. I go back to China being the example, if we only use Google then we are trusting that they aren't manipulating results. A group of people pooping on a site to me, is manipulating the results. That group or person is deciding what is or isn't a good result. It may have been fine in the past, but not when they own >80% of the internet information that the world sees. Now, this may be fine if you trust these people making those decisions, but what if they had another agenda? A bias? What if they didn't like you and had that ability to poop on your site? Well sounds like they do have the ability to poop on your site. What does this mean? In cyberspace, it's called playing God. If I could control what you do or don't see, I'm essentially God.
