I agree with Bradley that Webmaster Tools is the first line of defense. When you login and go to:

Dashboard > Overview

You should see:

Home page crawl: Googlebot has successfully accessed your home page.
Index status: Pages from your site are included in Google's index.
Pages in your Sitemap(s) are included in Google's index.

Below that you should see:

Errors for URLs in Sitemaps 0
HTTP errors 0
Not found 0
URLs not followed 0
URLs restricted by robots.txt [a number here]
URLs timed out 0
Unreachable URLs 0

Then when you click Diagnostics > Content analysis you should see: "We didn't detect any content issues with your site."

When you click "Sitemaps > Overview", you should see:

Sitemap stats
Total URLs: [a number here]
Indexed URLs: [a number here that matches the number above]

Then under "My Sitemaps" you should see: Status > OK

If all that checks out as above, then it's at least possible that the problem is not with you, so you may have to request a manual review by Google tech support, to confirm that this issue is not a glitch on their end. If you've not done that already, you can go back to the Dashboard and click "Request reconsideration".
