cj94111 well i dont think its normal when its frequent and may be google is just tipping you to fix what ever is breaching their TOS before they smash.

Such fluctuations can also be considered normal as google keep adapting new things in its algo.

I had some what similar pattern as yours and then finally got smashed on 3rd june and since then i figured so many stupid things which i never bothered before e.g duplicate meta titles.
