soxos' clue didn't apply to my site which was 950'd uniformly, all the pages were down 80% off their previous (and current) Google traffic. Yet during the penalty all the pages remained indexed and cached and my company name and domain were beautifully sitelinked. Though YMMV seems typical for these matters.
