As a non-network/non-server guy, here's what I'd like to see -- a group of street-smart hack-savvy experts who formed a company which would be hired by hosting services for the explicit purpose of finding exploits in their servers, along the lines of the things being discussed here (cPanel, VDeck, AWstats, etc).

Maybe make the service acvailable to the hosts customers.

I'd sure like to know if what the host says is at all related to reality, and if not, what I could do to make my site safe.
