As a non-network/non-server guy, here's what I'd like to see -- a group of street-smart hack-savvy experts who formed a company which would be hired by hosting services for the explicit purpose of finding exploits in their servers, along the lines of the things being discussed here (cPanel, VDeck, AWstats, etc).

Hunh. I had a friend who started a business fairly similar to this, but in the end, he shut his doors a few years ago; he claimed the ISPs were convinced they were all totally secure with these programs. Maybe he should give it another shot.
