I noticed that usually when changes in algorithm or filtering happen a lot of webmasters post here with similar posts (age of their site, recent changes, links, etc. etc)

Not many of you care to discuss how you deal with major loss of referrals from Google.

What do you do:

A) Absolutely nothing (ride it out), go on with your daily activities and expect everything to eventually get better

B) Spend endless hours searching through your pages and scratching your head what you could have done to upset the big G
