We have also lost huge traffic in our 2 sites. Both 10/12 years old, stable traffic for years, alexa 15,000 sites and now will be alexa 200,000. Still getting some image search from google. We are not doing any changes in these white hat sites, there is no way to recover by changing sites. Emailing to google will not work.
