Anyone else noticing a lot of Google books results in the serps?

Yep, but usually these are the last pages in the results set among other penalized pages.

Looking at last 6 months in my niche it is all about links. When I get more links, I go up. When I go on hols and do not get any, I slip.
No other factors in play for at least 6 months. Yawn.
