It also helps when utilizing third party JavaScript calls. You would typically place that in the last element in the source order. This works great for Google AdSense which tends to hang every now and then. If it's right after the <body> element, that means your content isn't going to show until that third party call completes. You don't want that happening. Placing your AdSense Units in absolutely positioned include files that are served last in the source order minimizes those issues.
