Not so true in my case... My main site has about 800 links in Y!. My other blog which I just started has only 7 backlinks but it's gone to PR4! It must all be rubbish.
mainly cutting junk links.
Used to be 67 links in G!. Now it's dropped to 14. Some of the solid links from PR4 & PR5 sites have been dropped.
