I mean, ignoring the maths, if PR is meant to represent the authority of a site then the maths that produced this TBPR aint working. Youtube is THE video content site, one of the most important user generated content sites, one of the biggest entertainment sites... by any measure in any segment it isn't a PR3 site. They've shot themselves in the foot again. To me this update proves manipulation of TBPR outside of actual ranking calculations, which suggests it isn't worth relying on. This year my site has been a 4, then briefly 5 then 4 and now 3, yet it has not budged from the very top of the SERPS for 500-plus keyword combos, some with 80-odd million matches. I think the lastest TBPR reflects a strategy to downgrade bought links, but the behaviour of the TBPR versus the SERPS suggests this is only for show. Suggy
