nativenewyorker - I'm not seeing this at all. All searches I've run where pairs of results from the same domain appear on the same results page are clustered.

I believe someone else noticed unclustered results a short while back. It may be that Google is experimenting with various display methods... or it might have simply been a glitch. Google's pushing around a lot of data, and occasionally odd things happen.
