Tedster, Mcglynn and others,

After reading these intersting posts my situation sounds like mcglynns in that our old and new url structure is very similar and it's unsettling to be starting this transfer after reading these posts with limited vision of the best process.

1. I have concern that the home page which ranks very well will be hurt by having so many current internal urls go 404 which no longer will pass their strength back to the homepage.

2. Mcglynn, what would you do differently if you were starting your process over?
