Example: in a glass windows site not putting anything related to Microsoft or Explorer. While this may be good advice it demonstrates that some of us believe Google narrows your theme but not their own. Evidence of this is that, lately, Youtube is ranking well on very unrelated subjects. Why would this non-strict-subject-related-filter be lifted for Youtube? Google is becoming a strange place.
I've read people saying that your whole site has to be theme related, being careful not to slip into other realms than your main subject.
is Youtube exempted from this?
Why would other sites with diverse content (like directories listing different subjects) be filtered and not Google's group companies?
