What I believe is that Google is logically trying to manage web #s explosion by making results more granular, giving more weight to subject orientation and 'freshness' of content rather than weight and vintage.

The outcome has been positive on some aspects but -as we all know- has had some quite bad collateral damage.

I believe we all do realiza its a difficult balance that G has to achieve. What I find annoying is the lack of communication and the ever-growing arrogance of these guys.
