Microsoft should be allowed to have a search box installed in IE7. I see this as cross promoting their own brand, there is nothing wrong with that. I am sure Google will launch their own operating sytem soon and have Firefox and Google search preinstalled. Its all about competition. I dont think anyone should get on Microsofts back just because they have competitive advantage. This is probably due to first mover advnatge, as they have been in this near on two decades.
