The thing is that even though the domain is changed to the country specific search property, the results are different depending on your geographic location. That is the whole purpose of the plugin. Otherwise it's only function would be to save you typing your country code after google.xx

However, opening the results in the country specific search property is a good idea for labeling purposes. I'll add it to the roadmap.
