Yes the my problem itself is site:www.mydomainname.com doesnt show any thing but the cache:www.mydomainname.com does show my site.

Thanks for the reply....I have awstat for the site where it shows the googlebot had visited my site. It shows 88 hits by googlebot and 3:10 MB bandwith used.
So as per my knowoledge googlebot is surely crawling my website.
