Even if all incoming links to the site were removed, at least the index page should still be in google index, unless the site had an accessibility problem for a long period (beside removing the incoming links) which is unlikely. IMO, it's an obvious ban.
excuse me but since the web pages had a TBPR of three in the last update, doesn't that mean that those pages were indexed, cached and gained PR at some point?
