Being the CEO of technology company myself, I know how hard it is to achieve the kind of technical excellence that G has achieved. Where G lacks is in the man machine interface; Adobe, Apple, Sony, Samsung, Mercedes Benz are the poster boys there.
I have huge respect for G's technology. Whatever I have seen of their implementation it is flawless. I too use Yahoo sponsored search, mail, etc and it is not in the same technical league.
