For some of most competative keywords we have multiple sites in "free" top 10 and 3 or 4 in PPC... competing against ourselves... So pretty much whatever visitor would click, they'll end up at the "right place". This kind of enterprise is costing a very high price, naturally...
On one of the larger site that I manage* the Organic traffic converts 50% better than PPC... not to mention, much higher traffic (~12 times more**)
