We added a new section to the site on a different subject matter, for our visitors benefit which we though would give them added value. We wouldnt expect this to cause a penaulty, nor would we expect it to have damaged specialist sub domains - would doing this be enough to cause a penulty?.

If it is a penulty - what action should we take and what is the time scale involved.

Any thoughts appreciated - Now worried
