Most of my sites have been adversely affected to one degree or another. I saw much the same effect during the last major update. All sorts of shuffling of positioning back and forth, sometimes for days at a time. It finally shook itself out and stabilized. At the end, we were back to our usual positions. I recommend a stiff drink and patience. :)
