I moved and was offline as of Sept 23 when life was wonderful on Google. I finally got cable installed and was horrified on Oct 2 to see that of my 75 keywords which 75% were on page 1 the rest in top 5 pages were all most either gone or had dropped to 10th - 15th page.

The only thing that has changed is that I lost a good PR 5 link sometime this summer pointing to my home page. I use good seo, good content etc. Sites of friends of mine that use same techniques as I are fine.

I do not have a clue as to what happened, but it is like my site is being penalized for something, I am still there on some keywords just out of the running for any sales.
I have participated in the sitemap program, have wondered if that had something to do with it, but that has been at least 3 months since I started that.

A friends site was out of commission for a month after the last big update, but he did not have a cache. I have an update cache, so that isn't the problem. The only thing I can think of is in August and Sept, my cache was stuck at Aug 16th I think for days. I did finally get a Sept visit. Generally google updates my home page every day.

Very Frustrating and at the worst time of the year, my sales were just starting to pick up nicely.
