From what I understand, the user will be presented? with a second search box? Seems to me as though you are not forced to type anything in this second option, but if you are looking to make a purchase the option is there for you? If this is the case that seems fine and reasonable to me, I'll leave it blank 99.9% of the time unless i'm actually looking to buy something.
