I've been keeping up with that thread but it's 19 pages and I haven't seen anyone talking about ping. I thought it was better to start my own thread.

I've url encoded my link in the request, I've tried every variation of it I can think of. But again, the one sitemap I have listed through googles web page was downloaded overnight, but none of the ones I pinged.
