This attitude reminds me of someone who contacted me for a job lately. I turned him down after checking out the sites he redesigned that were full of validation errors, deprecated code and inadequate use of CSS. What was his response when I pointed it out? WHAT? I'm not wasting my time with that!

So from this experience you reason that what? That everyone that complains hasn't validated their code? This is hardly a strong argument. Frankly it irritates those of us that do validate our code and are CSS divas. Sure, many of my sites have weathered the storm Google's unleashed upon us but some haven't and they are coded well, validate and a couple are pretty big in size with TV, newspaper and radio ads driving traffic to it. There are tremendous amounts of incoming links because the site has tons of useful data.

So when I hear of this one personal anecdote that is supposed to poo-poo anyone hurt by Google blundering you bet I'll point out the falacious reasoning. Maybe you just got lucky. This time.
