Google does not understand Wikipedia's redirects properly
Wikipedia's redirects aren't redirects at all in the HTTP sense, and thus they do generate duplicate content. Essentially duplicate pages should be filtered out in normal SERPs, but it seems that in Wikipedia's case, not all of them are. as long as Google refuses to index destination pages, it will be like that
I don't know what this means.
