In general terms, such direct retaliation is rarely, if ever, an appropriate remedy for breech of contract, and may well prove self-defeating. The SEO is entitled to what can be proven to be lost, i.e., the fee specified in the original agreement. Tanking a site, based on a sense of feeling justified, is not a wise step, and may generate its own set of problems.
