I wonder which is more important.. Down a few places or totally wiped out? I thought we were making progress comparing those that were totally wiped.

Not that there is a damn thing we can do about much of the theories.

I for one am working with Adwords support to find out why sites such as about.com and ostg.pricegrabber are having their adwords ads/links indexed as pages (of our sites) in the serps.
