I was also showing up in the Google index until 8/7. Now I have been completely dropped.

I am a novice when it comes to SEO but I thought I was following the guidelines. The only thing I thought might have hurt me was that I signed up with a company called Links4Trade to find link partners. Is anyone familiar with this service and could this be why I was penalized by Google?
