If they don't reply to your request via the form after a week, send another one, and this time try to explain yourself better, or word it differently. If they don't respond with anything besides a canned response, it probably means they didn't "pass it on to the engineers" and dismissed your letter. I'm just guessing here, of course, but it did take me two forms to finally get a response. And I'm sure I spent more time on the second explanation, going really in depth, with proof, etc.
