Google Guy,

Having read your recent posts about reinclusion requests and the bourbon update has me a little confused.

Who exactly are you advising to use the reinclusion requests?

Is it,
Websites that have completely gone from Google
or
Websites which have had their search positions dropped into knowhere land ( not even showing up for company name ).?

It seems most of these posts about Bourbon are from webmasters which have totally lost all serps, as if some kind of site wide penalty has been implemented onto their sites - knowone even knows why this has happened to their sites. Many of the sites dropped are very good quality with good content, good linking partners - it makes no sense.

Will Google provide some kind of means for these websites to be evaluated so that the mistaken penaltys be removed from them?

Personally we would rather pay for our sites to be evaluated to get the penalty removed, rather than having Google pretend nothing has gone wrong.

And all things put aside, we must all admit that the serps were much better before Bourbon regardless of if you got dumped or promoted.
