In an earlier reply, you mentioned that Google was planning on doing something about Adsense spam sites, but what I don't understand is what you means exacty by such sites. Classifying email spam is easy enough but I have come across websites that were built using page generation software, and when I emailed Adsense support about them, I got a reply saying that the websites comply with Adsense TOS. My understanding of scraper sites is they are sites that pull content from the search engines and compile their own directory. If this definition is accurate, why would they be bad as long as the content they dieplay for various keywords is relevant to what the surfer is looking/searching for? Furthermore, would sites that have rss feeds as content be considered scraper sites even if the content is also highly relevant? what would happen if a website gets approved by the adsense team to display ads on the website, but then gets reported by a surfer using the "spamreport" link? In such a circumtance, would the user be right or Google and wouldn't a conflict of interest arise out of such a scenario! What I would like to know is your definition of spam pages? Also, if these spam sites had relevant articles, news sections and relevant content baiically in addition to a "directory", would they still be classified as offring no value to the surfer? Lastly, do you have a timeframe for when the new changes may be implemented? I should be grateful if yould clarify these issues for me. Thank you.
