With respect to spam detection, I believe it's implemented quite well in English language.

However, I wonder if it also implemented in other languages, for example asian language. I checked some Chinese queries with competitive keywords, sometime the results come out with many spam websites, which are simply nonsense articles with keywords or some 'fake' search results.
