Currently two weeks short of one year. Don't know if it's the sandbox anymore though. The url only listings are becoming a larger percentage of a decreasing amount of pages indexed. I seem to be now having a 302 problem but who knows. Perhaps there never was a sandbox, just that new sites were more susceptible to 302 redirects killing you off.
It just means the plans had to be rearranged to focus on the 30% or so of the internet lucky enough to use a search engine other than Google.

ps. Just kidding about there never being a sandbox.
