Searching the history of pages you visited is a really nice feature--more useful than just the queries you did, in my opinion. It's remind me of the Vannevar Bush article of As We May Think and being able to leave an information trail using a "memex" as he called it. Here's a pointer to his 1945 (!) paper: The other nice feature in my mind is that you can use your Google account on different computers (home, work, laptop, wherever) and carry your search history with you.

- I think so. I just tried it with a search of a word that was on a page, and it returned the correct page.
