Many bloggers get such upswings to particular documents, such as via an "Instalanche" that causes other bloggers to link to the recipient of the Instalanche. What google apparently thinks is natural for "normal" websites is not so natural for bloggers.
>The news that Google may punish sites that have a sudden upswing in links shouldn't be surprising. I would hope that they already do this.
