I was thinking the same thing. What is the reason Google treats 301's differently from 302/meta-refresh? Shouldn't meta-refresh/302's cause the page containing the redirect to be devalued, in the same way they are with 301's?
I'm saying that Google knows where it landed it was told where to go by the redirect.
