It is invariably trying to flog you something rather than advise - fair enough! I'm a great fan of about half-way down Page 1. (round about where my fun-filled, info-packed site is... ;) )
Because commercial sites are so adept at getting to the top of the listings - when I do a Google search for info myself I tend to avoid #1 in the SERPs!
