The Googlebot has not visited me around the time I was greyed. Last visit around 20th july.(Total visits to all pages 19543)
I noted that Googlebot visited 536 pages almost within hours and I think after I was greyed back in July. In hindsight perhaps it was removing pages from its index in that crawl?

You seem very clued up on this...so can I ask you advise.

I'm currently grey now...I have now removed the wpg references from my site.

Do you think Googlebot will come back, I have enough inward links? or should I start again?
