If you mean a white bar site i.e. PR0, I'd check its age, if its only about 45-60 days old, chances are it has not had its toolbar PR updated.

I'd also check its allinurl type output. If Google has an extensive number of pages in it, its ok. I'd also check the inbound links to the PR0 site to see who is linking to it.

Two of my biggest refferals right now are links from a major manufacturer for a new product they've launched -- from their new product site. Which is guess what .. PR0. The other is a brand new eWeek article.

I'd not be worried about those two links.
