In a nutshell, I own ONE company. ONE website. A few years ago I also purchased a different domain and had planned on making another site. I never did and had my webhost point that 2nd domain to my original domain/site. The spelling for our domain is often mispelled and about 3 months ago we were finally able to grab the domain with the alternate spelling. I then had my webhost point this to our main site. When you type in these two other sites, you are taken to our main site but the URL that was typed in remains. e.g., our main site is "siteone.com." if someone types "sitetwo.com" or "sitethree.com" in their address bar, they are taken to "siteone.com" but the name sitetwo or sitethree remains in the bar. IS THIS CAUSING US PROBLEMS?!
Okay, I am going nuts here. As I've posted before, my site has been dropped from Google due to (I have assumed) a certain SEO company.
HOWEVER, in doing research I am now finding out things about "duplicate content" that could be also causing problems.
I never heard it was wrong and it's been this way for years. During this time we always did well with G.
HELP!
