There are occasional posts saying, “ I am new, what do I have to do to get on first page of Google?”

Over half a century ago, as students we were given the following answer to any question which asks for a one sentence answer to explain what has been learned after 5 years of study.

There are 3 possibilities:-

If you are asking me to explain it in 1 hour, I need a month to prepare it.

If you will allow me one full day to explain, I need a week to prepare it.

If you will allow me a month to explain it, I can start now.
