1. It will have at least a few paragraphs of good, clean, meaty prose. The prose should be written in clear English, with simple and clean sentences and paragraph breaks. Active voice constructions should predominate; avoid the passive stuff. You should avoid complex sentence structures, lists of things, etc. Content should predominate over anything that might be interpreted by a robot as "spammy", i.e. menu lists, keyword lists in alt images, etc. Outbound links should either be concise and to the point, or coherent sentences. Be careful where and how you link. Have a good variety of inbound links, a natural-seeming spread. In the end, it's all kind of old-school stuff, really.
OK. I'm going to take a run at what might be a nice, "unfiltered" page for the new google, based on the ideas in this thread.
