I'm not seeing anything surprising for www-in. However most datacenters now show a count of 5.39 billion or more web pages for a search on "the". Such counts were shown up to October 2nd and the following day the counts dropped to 1.4 billion and were running at that level until last week. What does it mean? Beats me!
