For the people using a certain hosting company that saw their sites drop out of our index--I think someone here called the company and talked to them. I believe the situation is well on its way to being resolved; my understanding is that the problem was not at our end. ;) I checked on the people who posted to spam report asking about their site. I know that a set of four of the sites were hosted with the company I mentioned above. To the person who has a <<snip>> alumni association at an East Coast school: check your robots.txt file, it returns a 502 proxy error. If we see a 5xx error on the robots.txt, I think we play it safe and don't crawl the site. If you take care of that 5xx error on your robots.txt, you should be crawled soon afterwards.
